Adding value

Don Lowe – Continuous learning drives continuous growth.

How can we create value out of waste?

Don’s roots in agriculture run deep. Early in his career, he managed and owned agricultural businesses focused on crop production, seed maize, horticulture, and livestock. This hands-on experience shaped his enduring passion for soil health and sustainable farming.

Driven by a belief in working with nature rather than against it, Don started the Earth, Worms & Microbes Farm Project with Yossef Candy—a project designed to explore and validate the economic and environmental benefits of vermiculture (worm farming) and microbial soil enhancement. By converting organic waste into nutrient-rich compost, the project aims to showcase the potential of earthworms and microbes to restore and enrich soil health.

Don’s vision is to empower individuals and organizations to implement regenerative practices that support both ecological resilience and long-term profitability. Through knowledge sharing, consulting, and practical demonstrations, he continues to advocate for systems that transform organic waste into microbial rich plant & soil nutrients—turning a natural process into a strategic asset.

Learning is a journey that never ends.
